This original vintage pattern by McCall's was offered as a mail order promotional giveaway for Fels soap products. From the pattern envelope, "Mix-Mate Skirt & Blouse - Two section A-line skirt and pull-on blouse with unmounted short sleeves. Skirt has interfaced waistband, left side zipper, may be lined. Blouse has French darts at front. Front opening is fastened at top with hook and eye. Neck is bound with bias self fabric, binding extending into tie ends at front."
The pattern is complete with instructions and partly uncut. The original mailing envelope is in fair condition with edgewear and a name written over in pencil.
This outfit fits a vintage 60s/70s sizes 18 & 20 with a 38 - 40-inch bust, 30 - 32-inch waist and 40 - 42-inch hip.
