This original vintage pattern by McCall's was offered as a mail order promotional giveaway for Fels-Naptha Soap. From the pattern envelope, "3 sectioned, dart fitted dress with drop shoulders, zipper and low back pleat. Dress may be made with faux pocket flaps or belt of grosgrain ribbon closed with hooks and eyes under applied bow at front. Either dress has interfaced neckline and may be lined."
The pattern is complete with instructions and is cut. The original mailing envelope is in good condition with edgewear and pencil notes.
This outfit fits a vintage 60s sizes 18 and 20 with a 38 to 40-inch bust, 30 to32-inch waist and 40 to 42-inch hip.
